CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE

A wonderful, no-bake pie!

1-1/3 cups Dry, Non-Fat Milk
2 Pkg Fat-Free and Sugar-Free Instant Chocolate Pudding
2-1/2 cups Water
1 Chocolate Pie Crust – ready to use
1 cup Fat-Free Whipped Topping
1 tbsp Lite Chocolate Syrup
1 tbsp Mini Chocolate Chips

Mix the dry pudding mixes and dry milk powder. Stir in water.
Spread the pudding mixture into the pie crust and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
Mix the whipped topping and chocolate syrup. Then spread the mixture over the refrigerated filling. Evenly spread the chocolate chips over the top and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.


CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE

15 Sugar-Free Chocolate Cream Sandwich Cookies, crushed into crumbs
1/4 cup Margarine, melted
1/3 Splenda
1/4 cup Cornstarch
3 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 cup Fat-Free Half and Half
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Mix the cookie crumbs and melted margarine in a medium bowl. Press the mixture in the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie pan.
In a medium saucepan, mix the sugar substitute, cornstarch, and cocoa. Slowly add the half and half over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture is thickened to the texture of pudding, about 5 minutes. Add the vanilla. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and let cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

A variation on this diabetic pie recipe: For Chocolate Banana Cream Pie, line the bottom of the prepared piecrust with sliced bananas (1 large banana) before pouring in the chocolate.
